You are purchasing an odd count peyote digital pattern....NOT THE ITEM IN THE PHOTO!!

OWLS have been popular for some time now. I’ve always been intrigued by them! In fact, we have an owl that visits our neighbors chimney stack each fall, with it’s HOOTS and big eyes! This visitor is HUGE, standing about 16 inches or more. He alerts his friends of FEASTS in the area.  I love owls!!

I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads; size 15/0 seed beads for the trim and I chose to use a toggle bar and ring for the closure.

I used 11 different colors for a total of 2358 beads! There are 23 columns and 205 rows.

I've added a simple 3-bead trim. I used some lightly colored, silver lined teal seeds and some silver lined amber seeds for the trim. This step is optional.

The finished size of AUTUMN OWLS is 1 1/2 inches wide (which includes the trim) by 6 7/8 inches before adding the clasp. If you need to shorten OWLS, simply work 5 owl motifs and then work the ends as written until desired length. To lengthen, simply continue to work ends as shown.

Each owl motif is 1 1/8 inches, from the middle of one heart section to the next.

I’ve really enjoyed designing AUTUMN OWLS. I hope you like it too! BE BLESSED!
