KNOWLEDGE of cross stitch is needed to complete this pattern as there are no instructions on how to do this within the pattern.

Back in 2000, I was designing fabric for a very large New York fabric company!  During my tenure there, I designed TEA PARTY KITTIES!  Along with that, my Daughter-in-Law, Kristal is a KITTY LOVER from the word "go".  I pulled those two together and designed KITTY QUILT Cross Stitch to bring all these factors together!  I was able to present Kristal with her KITTY QUILT table runner!  I must say, that the look on her face was all it took for me to be proud that I had made this for her!  I hope you enjoy the pattern!

This pattern only contains full cross stitches and back stitches.  I wanted to make this as simple as possible so it would be fun for all, no matter their stitching background.

I used 9 different DMC embroidery floss colors to include DMC'S DIAMANT D-3852 to create kitty's whiskers and to back stitch around the collar.

The finished size of the design area of each kitty square is "2.93 inches by 2.79" inches with a grid size of 45W x 43H.

I used 14ct white Aida cloth.
