Knowledge of odd count peyote is needed as no instructions for this stitch are given within the pattern.
If you have followed me over the years, you know I LOVE color! In this design, there is A LOT of it! I recently finished a crochet blanket for my Granddaughter Kali, and I used a V-Stitch to create it! Having both of these in my mind, GRADIENT V-STITCH was created! I had a lot of fun creating this! I hope you like it too!
How do I manage all these colors? It’s easy. I pour out only the white, black and silver Delicas. Then as I get to each color, I only pour out the one that I am using. Simply and easy. You might be able to memorize this design, it's that easy.
I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads; size 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads for the CRYSTAL PICOT TRIM and end loops, #15-401, Black and (50) 2mm Fire Polish Crystals in SILVER. I use a toggle bar and ring for the closure.
I used 27 different DELICA bead colors for a total of 1675 beads! There are 17 columns and 197 rows.
The finished size of GRADIENT V-STITCH is 6 5/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches, which includes the trim.
If you need to lengthen your bracelet, continue with the V-STITCH at each end, until you have reached your desired length.
