WELCOME to my World...

    You know you're getting old when you can't even remember what day it is! How many of you out there know what I'm talking about?  Come on, admit it!  Now one on this earth wants to get old.  We think we can live forever.  Our human-ness tells us to "go on" and it will all work in the end. I sure don't want to get old.  My mind is that of a young person and in my mind "I'm 23!"  Right?  My body says otherwise.  The aches and pains in my knees and back are off the charts...

My Mom used to say to me...."Julie, you DO TOO MUCH!" I love my Mom and I miss her terribly, but at the time she told me this, I had my three lovely boys, a home and I had just gotten a divorce. I had been married to my boys Dad for 14 years.  Things were tough.  I had to find a job, a new home, a car and a babysitter.  I was able to stay home to raise the boys and was petrified at the prospect of having to do all this on my own.  I was as GREEN...

It's so good to hear from you guys!  I so love hearing about YOUR lives and how things are for you.  I've met so very many SWEETHEARTS over the years.  Even though I've never met you, you ARE like a sister to me!  Friends....we will endure! After having a CT scan of my heart in a very enclosed donut, I just wonder what it's all about.  My heart is fine.  It's like the heart of a 25-year-old, so says my cardiologist.  I've never smoked or drank.  I am overweight and have been most of my life.  I'm used to it...
