Penny Kitty. What can I say about this adorable rescue we were honored to love and care for. It’s been many moons ago that we got Penny. This adorable orange tabby was with me when I was having my three boys, in the 1980’s. Penny sat on my growing belly with each pregnancy. Then, each time we brought a new family member home, Penny was very protective over them. We all fell in love with her. Sadly, she is in Heaven with the other kitties. What a blessing she was. In honor of my PENNY KITTY....
I used size 11/0 DELICA beads; 4lb Fire Line fishing line; a long beading needle and size 15/0 Miyuki round seed beads in GALVANIZED YELLOW GOLD, (#15-1053) for the trim. I chose a decorative bead from my stash for the drop. Please choose a drop of your choice or hang a charm!
For PENNY KITTY I used 11 DELICA colors. There are 981 DELICA beads in total making 37 columns and 53 rows.
The finished ornament measures just under 2 inches (not including the hanger loop or the drop trim) by 2 inches in width with the trim.
