FIRE....it is ALL consuming. It's BOLD. Warm. BRILLIANT! I had such fun creating this set of Carrier Bead Covers! From the shy beige matte bead to the bright fiery silver lined red, these covers were fun to stitch! I hope you enjoy them and will find WARMTH within each!
I’ve used clear, two-hole, acrylic carrier beads that measure 18mm by 9mm by 5mm.
The focal carrier cover is a double carrier cover. How do you get a double carrier bead, you ask? I took a bottle of Aleene's Tacky Glue and glued two carrier beads together. Let dry overnight. Be sure and don't glue over the holes! The double carrier bead cover is 15 columns by 50 rows for a total of 375 beads.
This single carrier bead covers have 7 columns and 50 rows for a total of 175 beads. I have used 4lb Fire Line fishing line and size 11/0 Delica beads.
For the optional PICOT trim, I’ve used size 15/0 round, gold metallic seeds. Full color photos of how to add the trim to your carrier covers BEFORE you zip them up!
You can mix and match these carrier bead covers to your desire. Make a necklace, a bracelet or whatever your HEART desires! So many options to choose from!
