Knowledge of odd count peyote is needed as no instructions are given within the pattern!
I love Santa Claus. In my heart he exists and he does have a tummy that "jiggles like a bowl full of jelly". Since I was a little girl, sitting by the fire and gazing at the gorgeous Christmas stockings my Grandma made to the sweet smell of Christmas cookies baking in the oven, Christmas has many fond memories. Santa is a big part of those memories! Here then, is my love for Santa in SANTA HEARTS!
I used size 11/0 Delica beads, 4lb Fire Line fishing line and a toggle bar and ring for the closure. For the optional PEARL PICOT trim I used Miyuki size 15/0 rounds seeds in Silver Lined Crystal #15-1 and TRUE 2mm firepolish crystals in SIAM AB (12) and PASTEL LIGHT PINK (10).
I used 9 different colors for a total of 1281 DELICA beads! There are 13 columns and 197 rows.
The finished size of SANTA HEARTS is 6 5/8 inches by just over 3/4 inches pearl trim to pearl trim.
If you need to make your bracelet a bit longer simply continue the blue stripes at EACH end until your desired length is reached.
Of course, I know who Santa really is. He is an old man, with a wife who lives at the North Pole. Those reindeer have told me he is REAL even down to his white beard. I look forward to seeing him this Christmas. Oh the way my mind can tell a story...
