You are purchasing a flat ODD count peyote digital pattern.... NOT THE ITEM IN THE PHOTO!!
Knowledge of odd count peyote is needed as no instructions for this stitch are within this pattern.
You will work FLAT, then zip up the piece to form the tube. My beaded covers fit most standard size lip balm tubes such as Burt’s Bees and Blistex. If you find your completed cover to be loose on your lip balm tube, simply add some double stick tape to the tube and replace your cover.
It’s very apparent to me, that these days are filled with all sorts of issues, mostly ugly things. I choose, to remain JOYFUL and think of the CROSS! For me, I see lots of beautiful flowers blooming on the cross, wrapping it with LOVE and they continue to do so in the chaos. So, I pray that this pattern will give you PEACE and JOY! May you be blessed!
Work as a FLAT odd count peyote pattern and I would recommend adding the PICOT trim AFTER you zip up the back of your lip tube cover.
I stitched the original using a size 12 beading needle, 4lb Fire Line fishing line, size 11/0 Delica beads.
For the optional PICOT trim, I used size 15/0 round Miyuki seed beads in, SILVER LINED CRYSTAL, #15-1. I also used (2) 2mm Fire polish Crystals in PASTEL TURQUOISE for the center FIREPOLISH PICOT. Directions for the trim are below!
I used 8 colors making 37 columns and 66 rows using a total of 1221 beads. The cover as designed measures 2 3/4 inches around by a 1 7/8 inches tall, lying flat!
So, as we ALL gather together, in this beady world, may we ALL love each other as we would want to be loved! I know I truly LOVE YOU ALL! Blessings!
