NOTE: My beaded covers fit most standard size lip balm tubes such as ChapStick and Burt’s Bees. If you find your completed cover to be loose on your lip balm tube, simply add some double stick tape to the tube and replace your cover.
I have met so many wonderful beady-type friends over the Internet, over the last few years. One being Sweet Vanessa! Not only is Vanessa a fantastic beader, she is a gardener who loves to tend to her flower babies. Vanessa has shared with me, many photographs of her flowers and I am in awe of her gentleness and tenderness and the care she puts into her flower bed. So for Vanessa, I honor her green thumb and most of all, her kindness and love for me over the years!

Work as a FLAT odd count peyote pattern and add the OPTIONAL picot trim BEFORE you zip up the two ends to form a tube.
I stitched the original using a size 12 beading needle, 4lb FireLine fishing line, size 11/0 Delica beads and size 15/0 round seed beads for the optional PICOT trim.
I used 11 colors making 33 columns and 66 rows using a total of 1221 beads.
The cover as designed measures 2 3/4 inches around by a 1 7/8 inches tall.
