"Peytwist" is a wonderful stitch created by Gerlinde Lenz. What a marvelous way to simulate bead crochet! I give her thanks for her outstanding technique and her kindness in sharing with us all.
Knowledge of "Peytwist" (Peyote With A Twist, Not Crochet) is needed to create this design, as no instructions are given on how to stitch it here in this pattern.
For BEWILDERED HEARTS, this pattern is 11 beads around. I have provided a color graph and a word chart for ease in working this cute design.
I’ve used size 11/0 Miyuki round seed beads. I highly recommend those beads for uniformity in size. I cannot guarantee the results you might get using any other beads.
I also used 6lb Fire Line thread and a size 12 beading needle. You have the choice to use this design in a couple of ways, as a bracelet or necklace! Finishing off the tube is a lot of fun and I show you what I did to complete mine, on the last two pages.
The inspiration for this design came out of my love for HEARTS! HEARTS are a sign of LOVE and I certainly have a lot of THAT to share!
