KNOWLEDGE of odd count peyote is needed as there are no instructions for this stitch with the pattern!
I love to crochet. I had ordered one of those mixed, striped yarn balls and as I opened my box, this design came to my mind. Why not use a variety of striped DELICA colors and add a touch of GOLD? Here is a lovely design full of GOLDEN TREAUSRES! Swirls and hearts and diamonds, oh my!
I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads and a toggle bar and ring for the closure.
To work the optional PICOT trim and as designed, I used Miyuki size 15/0 round seeds in GALVANIZED YELLOW GOLD, #15-1053.
I used 20 different DELICA bead colors for a total of 1891 beads! There are 19 columns and 199 rows.
BEADING TRAY HINT: NEVER FEAR all these colors. Working with so many colors may seem challenging, but I only put out the colors as needed. So in stitching it, you will never have more than 3 different colors out at a time!
The finished size of my GOLDEN TREASURES bracelet measures 6 3/4 inches by 1 1/8 inches, measured trim to trim.
If you need to lengthen your bracelet, continue the arrow design at each end. Or if you need to shorten your bracelet, remove some of the arrow rows. Do either at each end until your final size is achieved.
I will certainly TREAUSRE this bracelet. I love designing for YOU!
