Who of you DIDN’T love looking through a Kaleidoscope as a kid? Well, I for one, LOVED IT! My pension for high color and shapes was truly born through the many hours I spent twisting that tube of bits and pieces of color. Here is my return to those KALEIDESCOPE visions!

I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads and a toggle bar and ring for the closure.

To work the optional PICOT trim and as designed, I used Miyuki size 15/0 round seeds in MATTE BLACK, #15-401F and (22) 2mm Fire Polish Crystals in CRYSTAL AB.

I used 10 different DELICA bead colors for a total of 1658 beads! There are 17 columns and 195 rows.

The finished size of my KALEIDOSCOPE bracelet measures 6 1/2 inches by just barely over 1 inch, measured trim to trim.

If you need to lengthen your bracelet, continue working the black and white pattern at each end, until your final length is achieved.

The cardboard KALEIDOSCOPE I had as a kid, really set the MARK for me in my designing life. All these many, many years later, I still remember the JOY I felt in twisting that tube. Oh my my...

Within the pattern you will find full color photos of the finished piece; a DELICA bead legend (listing of colors used); a view of the pattern in REAL TIME; a full color graph large enough to read easily and a WORD CHART of the bracelet pattern. Up close photos of how I work the trim. Nine very COLORFUL pages are in the pdf download.

This pattern, in the form of a PDF file, will be readily available to you once your payment is received. You will receive an email from julieannsmith.com with download links included. Make sure you have left a good email address, so the pattern(s) will arrive to you safely!

I don't mind if you make these bracelets to sell, but please give me the credit for the design within your listing of your finished piece. I would greatly appreciate it.
