Knowledge of odd count peyote and the brick stitch are needed as no instructions for these stitches are given within the pattern.
THIS IS A PATTERN. You are not purchasing the items in the photo! THIS IS A PATTERN.
In my over 25 years of beadwork design, I have been able to meet some very AWESOME folks! I feel so blessed to know each of you! One of my beady buddies, Sherry, requested a PANSY design. I was only happy to get her PANSY GARDEN growing. Then here for you, Sherry, is your purple and pink pansy garden. May God continue to bless you, as YOU have blessed me!
I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads and a toggle bar and ring for the closure.
To work the optional PICOT trims and as designed, I used Miyuki size 15/0 round seeds in DURACOAT GALVANIZED GOLD #15-4203 For the bracelet I used (18) 3mm Swarovski Bicones in LIGHT SIAM AB2X and for the earrings, I used (2) of the Swarovski Bicones.
BRACELET: I used 11 different DELICA bead colors for a total of 1641 beads! There are 17 columns and 193 rows. I stitched this bracelet using the odd count peyote method.
The bracelet measures 6 1/2 inches by 1 1/8 inches measured crystal to crystal. If you need to lengthen your bracelet, continue to stitch using DELICA #1511 at each end until you’ve reached your desired length. Or in this case, I used extra jump rings added to my toggle bar and ring set.
EARRING/CHARM (each): I used 11 different DELICA bead colors for a total of 192 beads. I stitched them using the brick stitch.
Each earring/charm measures 1 1/4 inches, from the top loop to the bottom drape, by 7/8 inches wide. I also used some jump rings and a pair of golden ear wires. I stiffened each earring/charm using MOD PODGE. See how to use the MOD PODGE later in this pattern.
And for EACH OF YOU....GOD BE WITH YOU ALWAYS! With my love, jules
