You are purchasing a flat ODD count peyote digital pattern....NOT THE ITEM IN THE PHOTO.

KNOWLEDGE of odd count peyote is needed as there are no instructions for the stitch within this pattern.

You will work FLAT, then zip up the piece to form the tube. My beaded covers fit most standard size lip balm tubes such as Burt’s Bees and Blistex. If you find your completed cover to be loose on your lip balm tube, simply add some double stick tape to the balm tube and replace your cover.

I am not sure where my inspiration came for this design, but I kept hearing (as we all sometimes do) a song in my head. This day, my mind was playing SWEET JUDY BLUE EYES from Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and this is when the design came forth! There is a line in the song that says..."and getting TO THE POINT...." and here is that inspiration from that song!

Work as a FLAT odd count peyote pattern and add the optional PICOT trim BEFORE you zip up the two sides to form a tube.

I stitched the original using a size 12 beading needle, 4lb FireLine fishing line, size 11/0 Delica beads and Miyuki size15/0 round seed beads in SILVER LINED DYED AQUA (#15-1643) and GALVANIZED YELLOW GOLD (#15-1053) for the optional PICOT trim.

I used 10 colors making 37 columns and 66 rows using a total of 1221 beads.

The cover as designed measures 2 3/4 inches around by a 1 7/8 inches tall, lying flat!

I am so thankful for my BEADING ANGELS! They give me such SWEET ideas!

I don't mind if you make these to sell, but please give me the credit for the design within your listing of your finished piece. I would greatly appreciate it.
