You are purchasing an odd count peyote digital pattern....NOT THE ITEM IN THE PHOTO!!
One of my favorite things in the world are SOCK MONKEYS! I used to have one when I was little. I learned how to crochet them as an adult and I love love LOVE them. Did I mention I LOVE SOCK MONKEYS? Here then, is my LOVE for all things SOCK MONKEYS!
I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads; size 15/0 seed beads for the trim and I chose to use a toggle bar and ring for the closure.
I used 7 different colors for a total of 1709 beads! There are 21 columns and 197 rows.
I have added a simple 3-bead picot trim to HI-JINX. I used some AWESOME size 15/0 seeds in a pewter metallic color. This step is optional.
The finished size of HI-JINX is 1 1/4 inches wide (which includes the trim) by 6 5/8 inches before adding the clasp.
To lengthen your bracelet simply continue on with the stripes at each end, until you reach your desired length.
I hope you enjoy working SOCK MONKEY HI-JINX! What fun it was to create and stitch!
